Position Overview:
Traba is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Operations to join our LATAM founding team in Mexico. As the first hire for Latin America, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading operations in the region. You will manage a team of dedicated operators, driving the recruitment process to source, attract, and place top workers for various roles within the light industrial sector. Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring our success in the buildout of this new function and region.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operators, fostering a high-performance culture. Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and support professional growth.
Build a Top 1% Team & Culture: Be the culture carrier of the top 1% in-office culture that we have in the United States. Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent and ensure alignment with Traba’s overall business objectives and regional goals.
Market Expansion: Play a critical role in the launch and expansion of Traba’s operations in Latin America. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
Client Engagement: Collaborate with the Market & Growth Operations teams to understand and meet the unique needs of our customers. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.
Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and optimize performance.
Worker Acquisition: Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing workers at light industrial businesses. Ensure the highest standards of customer and candidate experience.
Stakeholder Management: Facilitate clear and effective communication within the team and across the organization.
Flexibility & Adaptability: Demonstrate the ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands with minimal downtime. Thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Qualifications:
Experience: 4+ years of experience in Operations. Proven track record at fast paced startups & previous leadership experience are required.
Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills. Ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
Work Ethic: A strong work ethic with the ability to balance multiple critical tasks, work under pressure, and consistently deliver against deadlines.
Attitude: Enthusiastic and positive attitude. Demonstrated care for our workers and clients.
