MBL Technologies is hiring for a
Siem Senior Engineer to support our client in the management and administration of the SIEM Support Services task. The Engineer will be responsible for the administration and management of the department Splunk solution in support the federal agency.
This role is contingent upon award of contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a technical infrastructure based on functional requirements for new and existing Splunk instances.
- Lead requirement gathering, technical design, and support operation teams in connection with the project.
- Design and implement content management solutions to provide search, reporting, applications, and visualizations.
- Develop guidance on data analysis and reporting, including the use of machine learning models and complex data analysis.
- Maintain, upgrade, and operate Splunk systems while providing guidance and assistance across teams.
- Integrate automation, application, and systems monitoring.
- Provide mentorship and extensive knowledge of Splunk.
- Implement technical infrastructure based on functional requirements for new and existing Splunk instances.
- Assist with requirement gathering, technical design, and supporting of operational teams throughout the federal agency.
- Implement content management solutions to provide search, reporting, applications, and visualizations.
- Maintain, upgrade, and operate Splunk systems while providing guidance and assistance as needed across teams.
- Integrate automation, application, and systems monitoring.
- Assist with Splunk knowledge sharing and educate federal agency Splunk users on the search, reporting, and visualization developments.
- Perform other official job duties as assigned in support of the federal agency,
Required Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree with technical major preferred.
- Current and maintained certification in one or more of the following IT Security disciplines; Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Splunk Core Certified Consultant, AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or Azure Solutions Architect, and/or Cribl Certified Admin.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of Information Technology and/or Cybersecurity experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of Splunk experience.
- Extensive experience as a government Splunk Consultant, including technical team leadership.
- Experience with AWS Cloud Architect.
- Experience with infrastructure automation, such as Ansible.
- Extensive experience with networking, system design, and development.
- Experience and understanding of Project Management.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
