The Role


At SellerX we are growing our Finance Department  and now we are looking for a Finance Business Partner (x/f/m) to join our team. In this role you will be working in close partnership with our brand management, marketing and supply chain teams to produce financial forecasts for our brands (P&L, cash flow, working capital, etc) and to provide strategic guidance and actionable analyses of the financial and operational performance. You will act as the single finance point of contact for a set of Brands and will design, set up and manage scalable processes.

Your Responsibilities in Detail


  • You own the strategic and operational forecast process for your brands and are responsible to challenge assumptions and propose solutions
  • You work closely with all departments across the company, you connect the dots and gain a deep understanding of our brands to produce high-quality financial forecasts and analyses
  • You provide effective commercial procedures or initiate change, to ensure key operational, commercial, and financial targets are delivered.
  • Challenge the status quo and drive change through data and analysis.
  • Design, set up and manage scalable FP&A processes and analytics that drive value-add for all stakeholders
  • Produce and present analyses of financial and operational performance to support decision-making across the company
  • Produce cash flow analyses to support our decision-making on working capital and capital structure
  • Prepare and present internal and external finance presentations and assist in fundraising processes
  • You work with BI and engineering to build automated reporting and forecasting

Your Background

  • You have a Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or Economics degree
  • Ecommerce or FMCG related experience is preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial and management accounting principles and concepts
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Finance based modeling skills
  • SQL knowledge preferred
  • Experience working with Tableau, PowerBi, and data-models
  • 5+ years experience in FP&A or corporate finance with strong commercial partnering background
