How you’ll make an Impact
As the DevOps Automation Engineer you will lead and conduct the development efforts required to dramatically improve efficiencies through the automation of IT infrastructure and administrative and operational tasks. You’ll leverage your automation expertise to eliminate manual entry of information, enhance reliability of results, and accelerate our services delivery lifecycle!
Summary of Location and Hours
- This is a remote position
- Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5pm CST
What you will be doing
- Design and implement automation for technical support tasks: Identify opportunities to automate manual processes within the IT helpdesk and incident response workflows. Develop scripts, bots, and self-service tools to empower users and reduce reliance on manual interventions.
- Automate infrastructure and platform provisioning: Implement tools and solutions to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management across cloud and on-premises environments. Streamline deployments and ensure consistency across development, staging, and production environments.
- Develop and integrate system-to-system workflows: Utilize API integrations and data pipelines to connect disparate systems and automate information exchange. Enhance data flow and eliminate manual data transfer tasks.
- Monitor and optimize automation performance: Develop robust monitoring and alerting systems to track the health and performance of automated work streams. Continuously optimize scripts and tools to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with developers, system administrators/engineers, security specialists, and other internal staff, and external consultants to understand their needs and integrate automation solutions into their work streams. Foster a culture of collaboration and ownership for automation initiatives, document deployed solutions to company standards, and create/perform training and mentorship to company resources as required.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies: Continuously learn and adapt to the evolving landscape of automation tools and methodologies. Explore and evaluate new technologies and frameworks that can further enhance our automation capabilities.
You’ll be successful in this role if you have
- 5+ Years Experience in direct DevOps automation activities for MSPs
- Experience with Powershell, RestAPI, MS GraphAPI and Provisioning Programming
- Proven expertise in training and mentoring, showcasing the ability to effectively develop and guide individuals for optimal performance and growth
Required language skills
- Ability to communicate professionally, in English, both written and orally
- Ability to write business correspondence and process procedures
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public

The base pay range for this position is expected to be between $80,000 and $120,000 per year, plus an annual on-target bonus. The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, and PTO.
