The Underwriting Analyst will aid in the collection of data in order to evaluate risk and risk funding. This role will help to ensure that established due diligence processes and controls with regard to data sources are adhered to and consistent with internal policies.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or a related discipline. At least two (2) years of experience in the Insurance industry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create reports and assist in evaluating data to support certain business decisions
- Collects, classifies, and analyzes data from multiple sources
- Understand reinsurance contracts and products (terminology, terms, and conditions)
- Prepare client-ready presentations to communicate analysis results
- Take ownership and responsibility for quality and accuracy
- Supports the analysis and implementation of additional reinsurance transactions when required
- Assist in preparation of data for monthly and quarterly reporting
- Participates in special projects as needed
