Oversee the day-to-day activities of the finance application(s), including communicating changes or enhancements and troubleshooting problems. Understand and interpret operational objectives and business user requirements to build, enhance, and support system use and functionality.  Assist, work with, and communicate with internal departments and staff to enhance end user functionality of the application(s).  Review and maintain current and accurate operational data within existing systems while assisting with testing and implementation of developing systems.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalency in computer science, management information systems, or business administration related discipline with 3-5 years of experience in systems administration and managing software development projects.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:


  • MS SQL, Python, .net or other coding disciplines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially using Excel, and other on-line software solutions
  • Organization, planning and prioritization skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, evaluate different scenarios and work under pressure at times
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and judgment skills
  • Self-starter that works well independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Troubleshooting abilities
  • Commitment to company values
  • Experience in OneStream a plus

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES:


  • Improve systems by studying system capabilities, communicating with end users, identifying problems, and recommending workable solutions, system controls or design modifications
  • Create, write and review code and application(s) and manage application(s) requirements such as database requirements, system enhancements and security
  • Coordinate the oversight of external system support including outlining specific requests and adhering to agreed upon timelines
  • Support operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
  • Develop policies and technical processes to implement, manage, and evaluate the application(s)
  • Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures
  • Provide data and reports on an ad hoc basis to internal staff
  • Conduct application training for all colleagues
