Responsibilities:
The Associate, Transaction Finance Operations will handle diverse range of responsibilities and assignments to support various dimensions of new deal acquisitions, dispositions, operations, and general support. The role will require attributes of adaptability and flexibility as the specific responsibilities will change from deal to deal and across opportunities. The candidate must be a motivated individual and have a range of experience and skills. See below:
Hands on experience setting up and supporting business systems and processes.
Ability to work with a variety of different business functions, operations, finance, HR, IT, sales and marketing.
Understanding of basic daily processes like AP/AR, bank reconciliations, sales reporting, etc.
Preparation of various monthly and quarterly operating information.
Ability to lead projects and coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal personnel.
Strong communications and team skills with the ability to interface with Hilco Corporate teams.
Troubleshoot, collaborate with, and backup other Team Members
Proactively complete various projects as assigned to ensure transaction success i.e. licenses, UCC filing reconciliation, travel coordination, insurance requirements etc. dependent on Opco

Ability to identify and take on critical analytic and business projects, as well as manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic/challenging environment

Hands-on, resourceful and a doer. Able to work autonomously but also operate as part of a strong, cohesive team; a willingness to learn and a high level of energy to see projects through to completion
Strong desire to develop in HCI and achieve annual organizational goals and objectives
Skills/Qualifications:
5 – 7+ years’ experience in transactional businesses.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
High attention to detail; ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Ability to maintain high confidentiality and a strong work ethic
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience with previous accounting software and databases
Certification in Project management, PMP or other similar certifications, preferred but not required.
