We are seeking a Production Engineer/Analyst to provide direct manufacturing, production, and quality support to Army missile systems. In this role you will conduct evaluations and make recommendations to improve manufacturing and production programs. You will represent the customer at the OEM facility providing a valuable on-site resource for tasks such as quality audits, test witnessing, failure analysis, and performance evaluations. Close coordination with both the prime contractor and Government will be required.You will formulate opinions, recommendations, and written communication of activities to summarize progress of remote sites while also utilizing knowledge of the factory production floor to identify issues and concerns as early as possible.
You will participate and work as a team member on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and provide input to special analysis teams, Production Readiness Reviews (PRR), and Failure Review Boards (FRB). Specific responsibilities may also include developing and overseeing production line validation events, supporting design reviews, participating in production configuration audits, and conducting data analysis.Success in this role will directly benefit the Army by influencing production and ensuring delivery of a high-quality product in a timely manner.
Required
- BS degree in related field
- Minimum 9 years of experience in a manufacturing, reliability and/or quality position
- Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance
Desired
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma process improvements
- Knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance and/or ASQ auditing
- Experience with ISO 9001 processes and procedures
- Knowledge of Environmental and/or Acceptance Testing of electronic components
