ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position.Reconciles operating and escrow bank accounts, accounts payable, and related income accounts.Balance sheet reconciliations to include, but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, prepaids, fixed assets, accrued receivables and accrued liabilities.Analyzes intercompany receivables & payables and reconciles to general ledger.Processes Expense Reimbursement and Company Credit Card Expense Reports via Expense Reporting software, records related journal entries, and reconciles credit card accounts.Final review of corporate invoices for proper authorization and general ledger and/or cost codingAssist in interim audit fieldwork and year end audit.Completes special tasks as assigned.Perform work in a safe manner and actively encourages others to do the same.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from four-year accredited college or university; two to five years related experience and/or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write professional and comprehensive correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to efficiently operate 10-key and personal computer.
