THE POSITION
We're looking for an energetic and passionate Technical Support representative to join our dedicated team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibility will be to provide telephone and email support of ERP and Flock Management software. You will also be involved in:
- Coordinating efforts with other teams and teammates to resolve issues quickly
- Perform root cause analysis for each issue, escalating as necessary
Major Duties:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve customer's software issues and inquiries
- Escalate issues as required or route to appropriate person or group
- Maintain records of customer communications, including documenting problems and resolutions
- Develop training materials, documentation, help systems, and procedures
- Train users on the use of software products
- Provide configuration and startup assistance to new customers
- Assess and document customer needs, and explain them to appropriate team members
- Assist in testing and documenting new releases
Required Job Qualifications:
- Knowledge of bookkeeping/accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost accounting, and bank reconciliation
- Strong software troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Customer-oriented approach to delivering service and solving problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Rapid learner
- Multi-tasking ability essential
- Intermediate level Excel proficiency
- 1 – 3 years experience as a customer support representative
Desired & Preferred Skills:
- Computer technical or software support experience
- Experience working with SQL commands and writing simple queries
- Ability to write easy-to-understand, step-by-step instructions for customers
- Self-motivated in finding ways to improve products and services
- Agricultural background or work experience
