About the Role: This position requires the individual to have a permanent remote office based within a 4-hour drive or 2-hour flight to the Oxford Atlanta HQ, and the ability to travel as needed (approx 10%).
The HR Operations Associate supports human resources technology and operations throughout the employee lifecycle (from recruitment to exit). They research and implement new best-practice tools that enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. The role partners with all areas of the business to understand how HR can provide support through operational improvements and technology.
- Research Workday functionality and provide guidance and build support. Identify opportunities to utilize technology for improved efficiency and experience and propose solutions in these areas. Stay on top of best practices in technology and engagement and recommend continuous improvement.
- Support special HR/HRIS projects by helping with requirements gathering, reviewing and testing processes, developing communications/training materials, and training system users on new processes/functionality.
- Input and maintain employee data accurately and efficiently in Workday.
- Monitor data integrity and resolve discrepancies to ensure the accuracy and reliability of information.
- Receive, prioritize, and accurately complete simple to moderately complex business Workday requests, transactions, and builds such as new retail setup, ad hoc org charting, password resets, reorgs, and assignment of role-based security roles.
- Conduct regular audits to verify data accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Generate standard and ad hoc reports using Workday to support HR operations, compliance requirements, and decision-making processes.
- Analyze data trends and metrics to identify insights, areas for improvement, and opportunities for process optimization.
- In partnership with the business and broader HR team, develop, create, and maintain user guides, procedures, and documentation that are thorough and engaging.
- Coordinate and deliver new hire, transfer, or acquisition onboarding, ensuring that new employees are equipped with information and tools to be successful.
- Conduct exit interviews, summarize findings to provide guidance or identify trends, and ensure complete exit processes.
- Execute scheduled activities including quarterly audit reports, weekly pay calendar updates, birthday and anniversary reporting.
- Develop, create, and maintain user guides, procedures, and documentation.
- Support intranet structure and post intranet content, including employee spotlights, news stories, benefits information, file updates, etc.
- Support general HR duties (e.g., process unemployment claims, department invoices, foundation checks, etc.).
- Build strong relationships with key business leaders and the broader employee population.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of compliance requirements and understand their impact on the business.

Who we would like to meet:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, communications, marketing, human resources management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of HR or HR technology experience.
- Workday (HRMS) experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Understanding of HR processes, including talent, recruiting, benefits, and compliance.
