This position will operate in a hybrid work environment (Philadelphia, PA).
OVERVIEW:
The primary function of the Operations Associate is to assist the Securities Operations department with cash movement processes and other custody functions that support the department’s excellent relationships with clients and business partners
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Control, monitor, and process all outgoing cash – wires, checks, ACH.
- Ensure accuracy and the set-up of scheduled events on the trust account system.
- Prepare reconciliations to certify the completion of cash movement.
- Coordinate disbursements with the Client Service Teams, Tax Department and other business partners.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties and assignments as required by the position.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years work experience and/or strong interest in financial services.
- 2+ years experience with Microsoft office and proficiency with various electronic tools and systems to fulfill daily responsibilities, including document management, transaction processing, and CRM.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven ability to interact effectively with other professionals on a daily basis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven competence in the following: organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to work well under pressure; and consistent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Self-starter with a great deal of initiative.
- Full understanding of client privacy and confidentiality.
