TULA Skincare is looking for a Sr. Accountant to join our Accounting team. You will be responsible for accurate and timely operational expense accounting and several Balance Sheet reconciliations, contributing to TULA having best in class accounting reporting and processes, and helping ensure stewardship across TULA. You should thrive on process improvement, collaboration and operating in a fast-paced environment. You will develop a deep understanding of the TULA organization. This role reports to the Accounting Manager and is based remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Ensure accurate monthly prepaid account and accruals by vendor
- Post operating expense transactions and ensure accurate coding
- Ensure inventory movements are properly recorded
- Ensure landed costs are accurately captured and allocated
- Contribute to strong controls across TULA
- Collaborate with the full Finance & Accounting team and broader TULA to ensure accurate and timely records and support.
Qualifications
- at least 4 years of accounting experience doing similar work
- Experience with the NetSuite ERP system is required
- Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Strong excel or Google Sheet skills
- Self-motivated and aptitude for continuous improvement
- Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
