What’s the role?
AGDATA is looking for a Principal SDET to contribute to the design and building of our software offerings. If you want to have an impact and make a difference, AGDATA may be the place for you.
You will have the opportunity to…
- Write and execute detailed functional test plans to thoroughly validate features
- Perform automation testing on the large datasets in complex products.
- Execute large scale customer deployment scenario tests
- Automate all aspects of the workflow including test harnesses and frameworks
- Collaborate with a team of developers, testers, program managers to plan and drive activities
- Work closely with development engineers to analyze and find root cause of failures.
- Attention to details in validating complex data.
- Manage quality and bugs reports in all stages of releases
Our ideal candidate will have…
- Minimum 15 years of experience as an SDET with at least 8 -10 years in test automation
- Experience in Software Development or Test Automation in C#/Java programming languages.
- Experienced with testing REST APIs & UI automation on selenium with C#/Java.
- Experience of testing web API through code is strongly preferred.
- Strong experience of OOP design with C# programming skill is preferred.
- Prior system testing experience of large-scale deployments will be a plus.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools Jenkins/CircleCI, Git.
- Ability to write complex SQL queries for data validation.
- Knowledge of test methodologies and their corresponding tools.
- Ability to recognize errors and assess risks within applications and or processes.
- An understanding of the ROI and risk for ah-hoc testing, test automation, code coverage and feature coverage
