Director - Fleet Operations
The Director of Fleet Operations will be responsible for the overall management and efficiency of Revel’s fleet and service operations. This leadership role will ensure our all-electric fleet is maintained to the highest standards, complies with all regulatory requirements, and operates smoothly to support our rideshare services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fleet management, a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
This is a local position in which the candidate would report out of our Service Warehouse in Brooklyn, NY.
Position Responsibilities
Fleet Management:
- Oversee acquisition, maintenance, and regulatory compliance for Revel’s electric fleet.
- Develop and implement fleet optimization strategies, including cost management and sustainability initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics to ensure operational efficiency.
- Manage the fleet operations budget and ensure cost-effective practices.
- Identify and implement process improvements and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with executive management to align fleet operations with company goals.
- Provide regular performance and operational reports to executive management.
Service Operations:
- Lead the service team to ensure timely and high-quality fleet maintenance and repairs.
- Implement and maintain preventive maintenance programs to minimize vehicle downtime.
- Ensure the availability of necessary parts and supplies to support service operations.
- Document all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintaining Revel’s fleet.
- Manage and develop a team of service advisors, technicians, and fleet coordinators.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding service operations.
Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure fleet operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Stay current with regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to fleet operations.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of documentation related to insurance claims and regulatory compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, transportation management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in fleet management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience managing electric vehicle fleets or similar technology-driven transportation sectors is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fleet management software and tools.
- Understanding of electric vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for fleet operations.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Compensation and Benefits
Base compensation range for this role is $145,000 - 180,000 per year, based on experience level. Posted salary ranges are reflective of NYC market compensation structures.
