Tableau Developer: Contractor
Kaizen Analytix LLC, an analytics products and services company that gives clients unmatched speed to value through analytics solutions and actionable business insights, is seeking qualified candidates for a Tableau Developer. - Design, developing, and testing dashboards and analytics visualizations with advanced functionality and user experience in Tableau
- Utilizing cutting-edge visualization techniques, including heat maps, advanced chart types, etc. to present data compellingly.
- Optimizing the use of large data sets within Tableau
- Ensuring the requirements are specified in a manner suitable for the intended audience and are understandable, unambiguous, and capable of being implemented and tested
- Working with the project manager and the business customer(s) to define requirements, key stakeholders, conflict resolution procedures, and the team structure
- Ensuring change control and change management procedures are followed within the project team as they relate to requirements
- • Assessing change requests related to requirements to assess overall impact on Tableau development
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience: 5 years of experience in business analysis / process improvement or related field.
- 50% on-site at client in Dallas required
- Core Skills: Strong communication skills; Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail; mindset of “own it all the way through solution”;
- Tools:
- 5+ years hands-on Tableau experience required
- Tableau certification, preferred
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Good working knowledge of Data Visualization tools;
- AWS and Alteryx experience is a plus
Functional Skills: Excellent presentation and documentation skills; Proficient in data query languages, specifically SQL
