Position Summary:
Master Data Management Analyst creates, implements, and maintains management solutions that enable users to optimize system capabilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Uses knowledge of end-to-end data processes to analyze, ensure that data flows efficiently and consistently between users and stakeholders
- Provides data governance and ensures data integrity by coordinating data management efforts across the organization
- Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies
- Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts
- Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, auditing, or verifying information or data
- Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data
Preferred:
- Big 4 experience
- CPA certification is a plus
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Master Data Management typically requires 7 years of related experience
