Role:


As a 

FINANCIAL ANALYST, 


reporting directly to the Director of Finance,

your key objectives will be to analyze financial data, create financial models, and provide insights that drive business decisions. This position requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively. 

Location: 


This is a remote position, but candidates must reside within a 2-hour drive from Pittsburgh, PA. Occasional travel to the Pittsburgh office will be required. 

Responsibilities:


The essential responsibilities and duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Analyze financial data and create detailed financial reports and models to support business decisions. 
  • Prepare financial statements and slides tracking performance against KPIs for the leadership team.
  • Monitor and interpret financial performance relative to forecast, identifying trends and providing actionable insights to the leadership team. 
  • Develop, implement, and maintain budgeting and forecasting processes. 
  • Support the finance team in preparing and analyzing capital expenditure proposals and investment appraisals. 
  • Collaborate with various departments to refine KPIs and value drivers, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. 
  • Refine and develop financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely. 
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards. 

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • Professional certifications (CFA, CPA, etc.) are a plus.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of overall financial experience.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting techniques. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software and ERP systems. 
  • Experience in a SAAS or start-up environment preferred

  • Must be US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or eligible to work in the US permanently
