We are seeking a highly driven, organized, and strategic Vice President to join our growing Office of the COO team. This role will play a critical role in supporting the COO in executing strategic initiatives, managing daily operations, and ensuring the efficient functioning of the Operations and Client Service organization. Qualified applicants have a proven track record for leading complex projects within the financial services industry. Responsibilities
- Assist the COO in developing and implementing strategic plans and initiatives
- Conduct research, analyze data, and provide insights to support the strategic decision-making process
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats
- Prepare presentations, reports, and communications for the COO, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with the company’s vision
- Act as a liaison between the COO and other executives, departments, and stakeholders
- Plan and organize executive meetings, including agenda setting, follow-ups, and action item tracking
- Lead and manage special projects as assigned by the COO, coordinating with key project stakeholders to ensure timely completion and successful implementation of these initiatives
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between the project team and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment with the firm’s goals and objectives and timely delivery
- Identify and escalate risks to project deliverables, and work with management to plan mitigation efforts
- Maintain project tracking tools and other resources including Confluence and Airtable to ensure all project information is accurate, up to date, and accessible
- Produce regular reports that effectively and proactively communicate project status to stakeholders and executive level management
- Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement; proposing and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency and productivity
- Special projects and additional responsibilities to be determined based on capacity, skill, and interest
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, the executive office, project management, or operations within the financial services industry
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related discipline required
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams
- Self-starter who takes initiative and learns quickly in a fast-paced environment
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
- Experience using Confluence and Airtable preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

If you are located in New York, New York, the base salary range for this role is $125,000 - $155,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.CAIS offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental and vision insurance, an employer matched retirement plan, wellness programs, and generous PTO and parental leave. Additionally, CAIS offers a flexible, hybrid in-office model; for most roles, we do not require a minimum number of days in office per week.
