Role:


As a 

SENIOR DIRECTOR OF ENTERPRISE PROGRAM MANAGEMENT, 


reporting directly to CTO,

you will lead the Program Management Office, and the successful delivery of high impact programs and projects across the firm.  In your day-to-day activities, you will provide oversight and guidance, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.  The ideal candidate enjoys working across complex areas, handles ambiguity and changing priorities well, and is driven to utilize their expertise to build new processes and methodologies.

Location: 


This is a remote position, but candidates must reside within a 2-hour drive of either Pittsburgh, PA, or Charlotte, NC. Occasional travel to the Charlotte or Pittsburgh office will be required.

Responsibilities:


The essential responsibilities and duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead the Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure the successful delivery of high-impact programs and projects across the organization.
  • Develop and implement program management strategies, methodologies, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define program goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Drive the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and company priorities.
  • Provide oversight and guidance on project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting the use of data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
  • Manage and mentor a team of program managers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Act as a key liaison between business units, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor program performance, track progress, and report on key metrics to senior leadership.
  • Identify and address potential risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in program management and financial services.

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the financial services industry.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, complex programs with a track record of successful delivery.
  • Strong understanding of financial services operations, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in program management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
  • PMP or PMP certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
