Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Developer based in Latam to build and maintain high-performance mobile applications on iOS and Android using React Native. This role demands a seasoned professional who can take ownership of the mobile app, work autonomously, and inspire confidence across the team. You will be responsible for architecting and building assigned modules, as well as collaborating with another developer handling the Android portion of the application. A strong team player with a high commitment to project success is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Develop pixel-perfect, smooth UIs across mobile platforms (iOS, Android) with a focus on iOS.
- Translate UI designs and UX wireframes into high-quality, maintainable code.
- Leverage native APIs for seamless integrations with both platforms as needed.
- Diagnose and resolve bugs and performance issues to ensure a native-like experience on React Native apps.
- Maintain and fix bugs in existing native iOS and Android apps until migration to React Native is complete.
- Write reusable, effective, and scalable JavaScript code, components, and libraries.
- Ensure the highest quality of the application.
- Integrate third-party APIs and handle app releases to the App Store and Google Play Store.
- Contribute to agile development practices and disciplines.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of their nuances.
- Strong grasp of React Native best practices.
- Extensive experience with native iOS development in Swift and Objective-C.
- Solid experience with native Android development in Java.
- Ability to write clean, well-documented code.
- Expertise in managing and debugging third-party dependencies.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs.
- Highly skilled in state management and routing libraries (e.g., Redux, React Router).
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
- Familiarity with Agile development and Scrum practices.
- Proficient in Git version control (GitHub or GitLab).
Technical skills:
- 6+ years of experience in mobile development.
- 5+ years of experience with React Native.
- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Extensive experience with Swift, Objective-C, and Java.
- Experience with RESTful APIs.
- English proficiency (B2+ level).
Soft skills:
- Strong ownership mindset and accountability for work.

- Passionate about software development.

- Excellent time-management skills.
Bonus skills:
- Experience with Kotlin is a plus.
