iParametrics has partnered with a prominent engineering, procurement, and construction company which offers comprehensive nuclear solutions to the Department of Energy, the National Nuclear Security Administration, and commercial nuclear power producers.
We are urgently seeking Structural Engineers who are enthusiastic about contributing to the design and analysis of critical structures in the nuclear industry. In this role, you will engage in a challenging project that requires your expertise in designing, as well as evaluating and optimizing structures capable of withstanding extreme conditions and meeting rigorous safety standards.We are filling multiple positions that vary between hybrid and onsite in Houston, Aiken SC, and Greenville SC. For hybrid positions, a two-week in-person training will be required, followed by remote work.
Onsite positions require candidates to be willing to relocate.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects
- Prepare and review of calculations, drawings, and specifications relating to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses and design, and bracing analyses and design
- Conduct construction document reviews as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, related phases of engineering, and field experience in the inspection of construction projects
- Experience in renovating/modifying existing facilities
- Familiarity with CAD applications
- Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design
- Nuclear experience is highly desired
- Professional Engineer License preferred but not required
- Department of Energy requires all people working on the project to be a US Citizen

As a W2 employee of iParametrics, team members are eligible for benefits such as medical, dental and vision, and the company matching 401K plan, subject to plan terms and applicable waiting periods. Compensation for this position is hourly ($47-$78/hr.), based on experience, background, and skills.
