Zentech products are proudly Made in America.We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. This role is crucial to maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency in manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead and supervise a team of production workers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and deadlines.
- Motivate and mentor team members to achieve production goals and maintain high morale.
Quality and Efficiency:
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and efficiency targets.
- Implement and enforce best practices in manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Identify and resolve issues that may impact production schedules or product quality.
Training and Development:
- Provide training to new and existing production staff on processes, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and skill development among team members.
Communication and Coordination:
- Collaborate with other departments such as Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Logistics to ensure smooth production flow.
- Communicate production status, issues, and priorities effectively to management and relevant stakeholders.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety guidelines and promoting safe practices.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience with coating and bonding processes and mechanical assembly
- Working experience with IPC-A-610, J-STD-001
- Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably electronics manufacturing.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
