We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team.Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated Bookkeeper to handle our accounts receivable and payable functions. The ideal candidate must be proficient in QuickBooks and possess excellent organizational and analytical skills.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable and payable processes
- Record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Prepare and send invoices to customers
- Process and record payments received
- Handle vendor bills and ensure timely payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Generate financial reports as needed
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding payment inquiries
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Education:
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
