Zentech products are proudly Made in America.We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Inventory Control Manager to join our team at Zentech Manufacturing in Baltimore. The Inventory Control Manager will oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient processes and timely delivery of products to our customers. This role requires a strong leader with excellent management skills, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
- Develop and implement warehouse procedures and policies to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain appropriate stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, evaluating performance, and scheduling work assignments.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing company standards and procedures, as well as complying with legal regulations and industry standards.
- Implement and monitor KPIs to track and improve warehouse performance, such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, and inventory turnover.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production and logistics, to optimize processes and ensure seamless operations.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology to streamline operations and enhance inventory control.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for warehouse equipment, supplies, and services.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to warehouse processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements for warehouse operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
