Victory Home Remodeling is searching for a qualified HR Assistant to provide administrative support to our Human Resources department. Reporting to the Senior HR Generalist, the assistant will help with onboarding, offboarding, payroll, ad-hoc reporting and general employee questions. Duties/Responsibilities: Serves as a reliable source of information for employees, promptly answering questions regarding payroll, benefits and policies Assists with payroll functions including timely processing, answering employee questions and fixing processing errors Conducts new hire orientation Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment and rollouts of new initiatives Collects & inspects new hire documentation and follows up where necessary Ensures that all employees feel safe and cared for at our company by addressing complaints promptly and professionally Assists with formulating policies, procedures, and changes, as well as communicating all updates to employees Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of HR files and records Conducts exit interviews for departing employees Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health and retirement plan providers. Skills and qualifications:Excellent verbal and written communication skills 1-3 year's experience in the Human Resources field Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact and professionalism Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to pick up new software and technology easily Enthusiasm for working within a team environment Preferred qualifications:Degree in an HR related field Familiarity with Paylocity & ADP Understanding of labor laws $45,000 - $50,000 a yearApply for this job
