Job Description:
We are looking for a critical thinker to develop solutions in a green-field environment. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer at Group1001, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions that align with our business objectives. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects, ensuring high-quality delivery, and adhering to industry standards. Your deep understanding of ITSM, ITIL, and CMDB will be essential in maintaining our IT infrastructure and service management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
- Develop and maintain workflows, scripts, business rules, and UI policies within the ServiceNow platform.
- Oversee the QA and testing processes, ensuring that all solutions meet quality standards.
- Manage the build and release process, following industry best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
- Work closely with the IT and business teams to integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications.
- Ensure compliance with ITSM, ITIL, and CMDB standards, maintaining the integrity of the ServiceNow platform.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the ServiceNow ecosystem and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Proven experience in financial services or insurance sectors.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology and experience managing multiple projects.
- Architect-level experience is highly desirable.
- Deep knowledge of ITSM, ITIL, and CMDB principles.
- Demonstrated ability to manage QA and testing processes effectively.
- Experience with build and release management in line with industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist) are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems.
- Experience with CSM, HRSD, SECOPS, Hardware Asset management, Software Asset Management, App engine studio.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, Service Portal, and other advanced features.

Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $125,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $175,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
