About the Opportunity


The MSP Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating business opportunities for the company by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential partners and customers. We are looking for people that are passionate, driven, have a willingness to try new things, have empathy towards others, and are able to figure things out in a fast-paced environment.This role will be working with the MSP team at Blumira. Managed Service Providers (MSPs) provide outsourced IT services to their clients and adopt many different tools as a part of their offerings.

Our goal is to enable every MSP partner we meet to easily make Blumira a part of their standard offering and support them as they sell Blumira to their clients.You will be responsible for working with outbound and inbound leads to create and foster new business opportunities while sharing Blumira’s value proposition. As the first line of communication with a prospective partner, the ideal SDR has a strong understanding of the importance of striking while the iron is hot. Urgency in follow-up, hustle, and self-motivation will lead to success in this role.

Role Expectations


  • Through a mix of outbound and inbound leads, you’ll create new business opportunities to fuel Blumira’s MSP Channel growth
  • Engage MSPs through phone, email, and other channels in order to understand their challenges and identify opportunities to solve them
  • Have the autonomy to operate beyond your role and help the team improve our process, training, use of technology, and any other aspects of our business
  • Work with management to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to create opportunities for new business
  • Conduct a high volume of calls and other activities to book qualified meetings for the MSP team 
  • Maintain good CRM hygiene and keeping leads and accounts up to date
  • The ability to understand Blumira’s product and partner programs to effectively communicate why an MSP should partner with Blumira
  • Achieve monthly quota of activities, meetings scheduled, and revenue generated

About You


  • Enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced, collaborative, and competitive environment
  • Be comfortable making a high volume of calls (50+ calls/day)
  • Be a strong communicator and have good active listening skills
  • Passionate about helping others: solving problems through product offerings for your clients, assisting your teammates when needed
  • Be a team player; always willing to share knowledge as necessary
  • Coachable and eager for continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, asking for help early and as needed
  • Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables
  • Ability to leverage Sales Enablement platforms to effectively reach prospective customers such as Hubspot, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator 
  • Technically savvy, detail-oriented, excellent follow-up skills
