Edge is seeking a passionate and skilled AI Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions using various AI/ML technologies. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of AI within our organization.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
- Participate in small, fast-paced groups using Agile processes.
- Conduct research and experimentation to stay at the forefront of AI advancements.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
- Develop and tune AI/ML solutions to solve real-world warfighter problems
- Follow best practices to architect and integrate AI/ML solutions into our services-based solution
- Some travel required.
Essential job skills include:
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of AI models.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience with python packages such as Numpy, Matplotlib, Tensorflow, and/or Pytorch
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prepare presentations and reports to communicate complex technical concepts to a broader audience.
Desired skills:
- Experience with Reinforcement learning and Generative AI techniques
- Experience interacting with STAC catalogs and datasets

- Experience generating ONNX models
- Experience solving optimization problems

General Requirements:
