The Role


TimelyCare is seeking a

Data Architect


to play a crucial role in designing and implementing our enterprise data architecture. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure our data models are robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. Your technical background, along with your experience in creating enterprise data models and implementing data modeling patterns such as the medallion architecture, will be essential in driving our data initiatives forward.

What You'll Do


  • Utilize AWS services to architect scalable and secure data solutions.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data architecture solutions.
  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise data models that support strategic business goals and ensure data consistency and integrity.
  • Apply data modeling patterns, with a preference for medallion architecture, to organize and manage data across various stages of processing.
  • Ensure data quality and governance by establishing and enforcing data standards and best practices including proactive alerting and monitoring, data cataloging, and data stewardship.
  • Implement and manage change data capture (CDC) processes to ensure sufficient history for reporting and compliance purposes.
  • Ensure Salesforce data is integrated into our data architecture, leveraging familiarity with Salesforce data to facilitate seamless integration.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive data architecture documentation and standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the data engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Recommend new tools and technologies that align with our architecture, team skills, and vision to enhance data capabilities.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data architecture and incorporate them into our data strategy.

What You Bring


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Data Engineer, or other relevant AWS certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role, with a strong track record of designing and implementing enterprise data models.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services and architecture.
  • Strong preference for candidates with Salesforce architecture knowledge.
  • Expertise in data modeling patterns, especially medallion architecture.
  • Experience with change data capture (CDC) techniques and tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL, python, and data modeling tools.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Looker.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this opportunity is $145,000 – $150,000 per year, depending on education and experience. This is the base pay. You will be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to the base pay, to be discussed during the interview process. NOTE - Sales roles also include incentive commission which will also be discussed during the interview process.Apply for this job
