WHAT YOU'LL DO AT H1


As the Business Development Manager, you will lead a team that often serves as the initial, and sometimes the second, point of contact for many of our clients. Your team plays a pivotal role in generating sales demand and building pipeline revenue through both inbound and outbound lead development and appointment setting. They are tasked with becoming experts in the Life Sciences industry as well as proficient in our SaaS product offerings.You will:- Formulate quarterly sales development representative (SDR) plans tailored by account, region, and representative to optimize our outreach.- Design and execute monthly SDR campaigns, complete with targeted messaging and specific goals, in coordination with our marketing efforts.- Collaborate closely with the Marketing & Sales teams to leverage marketing budgets effectively, including events and content-driven campaigns, to achieve company-wide objectives.- Train and manage the business development team on core messaging, ideal customer profiles (ICPs), and value-based selling to enhance their performance and expertise.- Support your team in constructing a predictable results pipeline, continually refining prospect outreach tactics and messaging to increase effectiveness.- Assist your team in driving top-of-funnel pipeline growth by strategically engaging the right prospects at key companies, increasing awareness and interest in H1.- Maintain a comprehensive dashboard to monitor throughput, outreach effectiveness, conversion rates, and other critical metrics to assess success and identify areas needing adjustment.- Regularly provide performance feedback, fostering an environment of continual improvement and professional growth.

REQUIREMENTS


- You have 2+ years of experience leading business development teams with proven success- You have 2+ years of experience in B2B SaaS technology or Life Sciences preferred - You have experience with CRM, outreach, marketing automation platforms (i.e., SalesForce, HubSpot, etc.)- You’re a critical thinker with a growth mindset 

COMPENSATION


This role
