As the sole People professional in the company, you will be responsible for both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations. The Head of People will oversee all aspects of HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance.WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE AWESOME

- Develop and implement People strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy in partnership with senior leadership.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring the organization attracts, hires, and retains top talent.
- Design and execute a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly.
- Develop and manage employee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
- Champion our company culture and values, ensuring they are integrated into all aspects of the business.
- Identify and address learning and development needs within the organization.
- Create and implement development programs to foster employee growth and career advancement.
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with federal and state legal requirements while promoting a positive work environment.
- Analyze HR metrics and utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions while promoting continuous improvement.
- Manage employee relations and hanlde any issues, investigations, and conflict resolution processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 5-10 years of progressive experience as a senior HR leader, preferably as a Head of People, HR Director, or similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that support organizational goals.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and other HR software.
- Strong understanding of HR/People functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Flexible mentality; willing and capable of performing varied tasks and adapting to change.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment while working independently on HR tasks.
- High attention to detail and discipline to establish processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Startup or growth-stage experience is a plus.
