As our Global Head of Marketing, you'll be the driving force behind our growth and success! With your background as a SaaS marketing leader focused on the HR technology sector, you possess a deep understanding of how to cultivate a brand, lead a team oriented towards growth, and drive both demand and client acquisition. Your primary objective is to spearhead growth by implementing strategic marketing initiatives that align to the company strategy, elevate brand visibility, engage customers and partners, and generate opportunities.


In your role, you will direct marketing initiatives  that not only align with VONQ’s strategic objectives but also promote our products across multiple European regions, with potential expansion to new geographies, such as the UK, US and France. Your leadership will establish VONQ as a frontrunner in recruitment solutions. You will mentor your team, ignite inspiration, and enhance impact through innovative methods tailored to meet the dynamic needs of our clients and partners.

Life of VONQ’s Head of Marketing


As VONQ's Head of Marketing, you will be pivotal in shaping our market positioning and messaging. Your role involves collaborating closely with VONQ’s top executives and specialists to ensure that when recruiters across Europe think of job media distribution, cutting-edge technology, and exceptional customer service, VONQ is the first name that comes to mind.. In this vital leadership role, you will lead a team of three full-time employees, craft the messaging and strategy surrounding our products, and develop a robust demand  generation system to drive business growth..

You will report directly to the Founder & CRO and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including the CEO, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and regional Sales Leaders. Your mission will be to nurture a culture of innovation, leverage relevant data to guide your strategies, and dynamically adjust tactics based on new insights to achieve our objectives. This role is an opportunity to steer VONQ's marketing efforts and imprint your strategic vision on the industry.

Your key responsibilities:


  • Brand and Message Ownership: take charge of crafting and refining VONQ’s narrative, product messaging, and marketing materials across all our operational markets.
  • Market and Customer Insight: demonstrate an  intrinsic motivation to understand the market, our customers, and users, to deliver compelling competitive messaging;
  • Sales Support: aid the Sales team by shortening  sales cycles and increasing deal sizes through the strategic use of effective content and optimized workflows
  • Enhancing Buyer Journeys: enhance the  online buying experience by, nurturing customers with targeted content and cultivating brand ambassadors
  • Demand Generation Innovation: Growth-hack your way through proven methods to drive qualified leads to opportunities for the platform and make our audience love us
  • Measure and optimize channels: based on impact and ROI, and build a CPA-focused lead acquisition model
  • Stay ahead of our competitors by knowing the market and its trends: conducting competitive analyses and make us stand out of the crowd
  • Build up relationships with key market influencers: educate them on the vision and strategy of VONQ and make sure you turn them into ambassadors
  • Lead and mentor the marketing team: build skills and drive performance, overseeing recruitment, development, evaluations, and team dynamics for high productivity and engagement.
  • Develop LinkedIn-focused social media strategies: oversee digital advertising campaigns, create segmented email campaigns using Pardot, and manage VONQ’s MarTech stack for enhanced marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Plan and support events: engage with influencers, and forge partnerships to promote products, build brand awareness, and establish thought leadership.

Qualifications

  • At least 5+ years of experience with Enterprise focussed marketing in an international SaaS environment and in the HR technology sector in a similar role
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced scale-up environment, demonstrating the ability to adapt to rapid growth and change while driving key initiatives.
  • A proven track record of creating company stories and messaging and converting this into successful inbound marketing strategies that result in substantial growth
  • Skills to work on pipeline creation rates, demand generation together with compelling content
  • Hands-on expertise: We are a lean company. While we value a strategic mindset, we all have a practical, hands-on approach to work. You will be ensuring that our digital outputs meet the strategy and brand guidelines - sometimes this means doing executions yourself. 
  • Analytical, customer-driven mindset: data-driven and eager to learn something new about our customers every day. Experience with different CRM analytics tools and customer research methods. 
  • Ideally have some people management experience
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken; native proficiency preferred.
  • Additional languages is a major plus
