Our office is in Chicago, but you can be located within the continental United States. There will be travel required to our Chicago office from time to time.
Key responsibilities for this role...
- Dashboard and Report Development: Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports for various business units.
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business decision-making.
- Requirement Gathering: Work with stakeholders to understand and document their data and reporting needs.
- Data Stewardship: Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data across systems, and promote best practices in data management.
- Training and Education: Conduct training sessions to educate business users on BI tools and data interpretation.
Your skills, background and experience include…
- BI Tools: Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight (Candidate must provide a sample of work, such as a public-facing or shareable dashboard, report, or data visualization).
- SQL & Data Modeling: Proficiency in SQL and understanding of data warehousing and modeling concepts, such as star schema and semantic layer.
- Communication & Training: Experience presenting data-driven insights and/or training on data solutions or tools.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a BI analyst or similar role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
