Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner, the global leader of automation systems and solutions, is currently offering an opportunity for a Valve Repair Estimator to join our fast paced, customer oriented team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the quoting control valve repair and complimentary products. This includes interpreting customer specifications, preparing quotations, sourcing products and meeting our commitment to excellent customer service.
Repair Estimator Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare valve repair quotations and bid proposals.
- Quote/order follow-up.
- Source parts.
- Expand sales opportunities when interacting with customers.
- Implement pricing strategies, marketing, and account management plans.
- Communicate opportunities, discuss customer issues, and work with Outside Sales and Sales Associates to develop customer account plans.
- Ensure quotations comply with customer specification.
- Process and review test reports including sign offs on electronic reports
- Review MTR’s on incoming materials when required
- Participate with team members to achieve company goals.
- Light travel.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
Repair Estimator Education, Knowledge and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; High school graduation or equivalent required
- Previous experience developing industrial quotations and job estimates is preferred.
- High computer application literacy including Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining composure and a positive attitude.
- Ability to learn and apply new technology, internal business systems, and/or procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Aptitude for navigating difficult customer situations.
- Experience building and supporting a team environment.
- Motivated by challenges and new opportunities.
- Ability to read/understand product instruction manuals.
- Mechanical aptitude preferred
Repair Estimator Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work extended hours on the computer
Repair Estimator Pay:
- Cash compensation potential: $59k-75K (Inclusive of base salary & bonus)

Repair Estimator Schedule:
- 7:30am – 4:30pm or 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday thru Friday
- Remote work available up to 2 days per week after 6 months of employment
