SUMMARY:


Under general supervision, provide daily customer support to clients within your assigned territory. Proactive reach out to clients to ensure a smooth flow of information regarding kits, sample, reports, and other client needs. You will perform other related duties, as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Life Sciences discipline required.

  • Experience:
  • 2+ years of demonstrated successful sales experience with a preference in NGS, molecular diagnostics, or genetics.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • 2+ years of experience working with a CRM; Salesforce experience a plus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Handles and qualifies all inbound leads.
  • Conducts sales discovery with prospects through cold calls, emails, social outreach, and networking to determine their pain points.
  • Works with assigned regional account executives to prospect target list and set up meetings.
  • Assists in presenting/demonstrating the value of the products & services to prospective clients.
  • Manages own sales pipeline by updating all activity in CRM.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements within the Inside Sales Department.
  • Builds trusting relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Delivers relevant marketing content to prospects.
  • Collaborates with sales executives to meet the company’s targets.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a goal-focused and metrics-driven environment.
  • Research potential prospects and helps create a target list.
  • Adheres to Code of Conduct as outlined in the Baylor Genetics Compliance Program
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
