The engineer will be involved in a variety of engineering tasks from equipment calibration, clean-room design and build to evaluating new processes for a large laboratory environment.
What You Will Do
• This position will work under the guidance and direction of an experienced engineering and quality team.• Performs work assignments of limited scope and difficulty designed to provide advanced practical application and experience of theories and principles in the mechanical engineering field.• Apply the principles of science and mathematics to develop economical solutions to technical problems.• Review mechanical/electrical portions of engineering designs prepared by Architect-Engineer firms for various systems and facilities including ISO certified cleanrooms and HVAC systems.• Perform operations, maintenance, and modifications involving laboratory equipment.• Write operations, maintenance, repair, and special test procedures.• Collaborates and makes proposals across several teams on their engineering work, and helps their team members make informed decisions in alignment with the sub-department strategic plans.• Provides support in equipment/process validation.• Conduct system testing/validation, troubleshooting/investigating equipment/system failures and interpreting analysis data/technical drawings/schematics to resolve anomalies and provide written corrective action.• Work shall ensure that facilities operate in a safe and appropriate manner and comply with all federal, state and local codes/regulations.• Complies with company policies and all applicable SOPs; complies with ISO 17025, cGMPs, cGLPs and Quality Control Guidelines.• Solves technical problems of the highest scope, complexity, and ambiguity for their sub-department.• Provide technical assistance during certification and/or calibration processes for external customer.• Lead and manage technical projects from conception to completion.•
Who You Are
• B.S in engineering or a 8-year degree in engineering technology• 6 years minimum experience• Experience in Project Management + CAD Design• Experience with Flow Analysis a Plus• Must be creative, inquisitive, analytical, and detailed oriented.• Must be able to work in a team environment, communicate well both orally and in writing.• Willing to provide services at customer’s facilities (locally or within the 50 states )Certifications:• ASQE a plus
