The AVP, Learning and Development will be responsible for ensuring that the company has the necessary culture, framework, and resources to enable colleagues to reach their full potential in their respective roles.  The position will require interaction with all levels of the organization to share the learning and development vision and to solicit involvement in achieving higher levels of individual and team performance. 

Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with VP, Learning and Development to evaluate the effectiveness of internal and external training approaches and facilitate changes as necessary to maximize retention, engagement, and the overall learning experience
  • Conduct ongoing audits of the LMS to ensure learning content is relevant, timely, and up to date with the latest business processes and expectations.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and engage with software used to create training materials (Canva, Articulate, and more).
  • Support the facilitation process by helping to coordinate internal training sessions, setting deadlines for training completion, and following up to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to training initiatives (attendance, completion, feedback).
  • Ensure all training materials meet the goals and objectives of the organization.
  • Work with external training partners and consultants to ensure the successful design and execution of training programs and projects.
  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity for training across the organization.
  • Develop assessments to measure knowledge gained against learning objectives.
  • Identify and utilize innovative technologies to facilitate adult learning through both live and virtual training opportunities.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to identify business needs proactively and help develop appropriate training for respective roles.
  • Help coordinate multiple projects and programs, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Embody the persona of a lifelong learner, serving as an example of continuous learning and development within the organization.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 2+ years’ experience developing training curricula and conducting needs assessments

Compensation:


The salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000Compensation offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
