The Senior Marketing Analyst will serve as a strategic partner, blending technical expertise with advanced analytical skills to drive business insights and strategies.
This role is pivotal in designing and executing a comprehensive data strategy, delivering sophisticated analytics, and providing actionable recommendations to support revenue growth, identify market opportunities, and understand customer behavior.
Responsibilities
- Analytics and Insights: Analyze data to answer key business questions about revenue, market opportunities, and customer behaviors.
- Business Insights: Provide actionable insights that drive business improvements and strategic decisions.
- Data Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for managing and using data effectively.
- Data Hygiene: Ensure data in Salesforce and other systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, and marketing automation platforms) is clean, accurate, and enriched for reliable use.
- Dashboard and Reporting: Create dashboards and reports in Salesforce to help executives understand key metrics.
- Campaign Analysis: Evaluate the success of marketing campaigns and suggest ways to improve them.
- Customer Segmentation: Help categorize customers and prospects to better target marketing efforts.
- Competitive Analysis: Study competitors and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Data Collaboration: Work with various teams to ensure we have the right data for decision-making.
- Data Processing: Extract and process data from multiple sources to support marketing activities.
- Automation and Scalability: Identify ways to automate reports and make them scalable for future needs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Marketing Analyst, Commercial Analyst, or related role, supporting marketing and sales teams.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Proficient in analytics tools such as Salesforce, Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, Google BigQuery, and PowerBI.
- Experienced with email marketing measurement tools, A/B testing/multivariate testing, and social media analytics.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience querying large datasets.
- Analytical and Critical Thinking:
- Exceptional critical thinking and quantitative reasoning skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of translating complex analysis and insights into effective business strategies.
- Communication and Storytelling:
- Powerful narrative skills to succinctly and effectively tell stories through data.
- Ability to relate analytical insights to business stakeholders in a compelling manner.
