Position Summary:


A Sales Representative position is available for a motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in the foundry industry. As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and customer satisfaction by leveraging your expertise in various casting processes and building valuable relationships with potential clients. Join our team and contribute to our success in the foundry metal casting industry.

Key Roles / Responsibilities:


  • Demonstrating proficiency in a wide range of foundry casting processes, including cold box, no-bake, green sand, lost foam, shell, v-process, investment, and 3D print.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the foundry industry, focusing on potential clients and emerging markets to expand our customer base.
  • Proactively prospecting and engaging with potential customers, utilizing effective sales techniques, product knowledge, and persuasive communication to generate leads and convert them into successful sales.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships through regular communication, understanding their unique needs, providing relevant information, and offering tailored solutions to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of our products or services, highlighting their features, benefits, and competitive advantages, while effectively communicating this information to customers to drive product adoption and increase sales.
  • Managing the end-to-end sales process, from lead qualification and pipeline management to delivering compelling sales presentations, skillful negotiation, and successful deal closure. Leveraging CRM tools and systems to track sales activities, update customer information, and generate accurate reports.
  • Staying up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, providing valuable feedback to the sales team and management to drive business growth and identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborating closely with our marketing team to develop impactful sales collateral, implement targeted promotional campaigns, and create market-specific initiatives to enhance brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Participating in trade shows, conferences, and industry events as a brand ambassador, showcasing our innovative ceramic media solutions and establishing valuable connections with potential clients.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:


  • Bilingual (Spanish/English), is highly preferred, but not required.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, ideally within the ceramic media or foundry industries.
  • Expertise in market dynamics, customer needs, and industry standards related to ceramic media and its applications in the foundry industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients, negotiate contracts, and foster strategic alliances.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and formulate actionable strategies for success.
  • Result-oriented approach with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex product knowledge and effectively communicate it to customers.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales-related tools to manage customer relationships and track sales activities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment, fostering a cooperative and supportive work culture.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients, attend industry events, and explore new market opportunities.

Working Conditions:


  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Positions self to install equipment, including under desks.
  • Moves throughout the building to access files.
  • Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
  • Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
