Client Executive

What you will be doing:


The purpose of this job is to develop and execute successful sales processes that result in the sale of Premier Solutions.  The Client Executive formulates and executes strategies to expand current relationships in named accounts by renewing existing business and upselling/cross-selling.  The Client Executive develops and fosters new relationships at the C-suite level to understand the prospect’s issues that they are trying to fix, solve or avoid and offers the appropriate program-specific Premier solutions.

The Client Executive also develops strong and fluid working relationships with Performance Services Customer Success, the Member Field Services staff, as well as Premier leadership, as the individual will be relied upon for retention efforts and existing account growth opportunities. This role also has responsibilities for securing (i.e. papering) existing renewals with the objective to grow the revenue via increased fees and expanded products/solutions.

Key Responsibilities


Responsibility #1 – 90%Sell Assigned Solutions to New and Existing Customers and Secure Renewals within Existing Customers


  • Make executive level sales calls to customers/prospects and position Premier as a Strategic Partner to target accounts

  • Identify business needs of prospective customers and present, close and sell added program-specific solutions (products and services) that will result in the customer’s business improvement.  Cross sell program-specific, bundled solutions in the executive suite by merging customer strategic objectives with Premier solutions.

  • Establish credible image through business knowledge in presenting and selling appropriate program-specific business solutions for customers

  • Educate customers on the benefits and business results of program-specific products and services

  • Implement strategies that will expand existing accounts

  • Clarify, confirm, and resolve customer issues as required to increase new business for new and existing client base (customer advocate)

  • Work closely with and leverage client management, and other sales and operations resources, to strengthen customer relations leading to the identification and closure of additional program-specific sales opportunities.

  • Match customer executives with “same level” resources to forge relationships at every level in the account

  • Maintain consistent contact with customers to keep abreast of potential opportunities and to close additional business

  • Become expert in the content of the specific solutions the Director of Sales represents

  • Secure renewals of existing customers with revenue growth via price increases and new solution upselling/cross-selling

Responsibility #2 – X%Sales Administration Functions


  • Maintain appropriate status updates within the customer relationship management system (SalesForce.com)

  • Create, review, and modify Blue and Green Sheets as appropriate to Sales Operations standards

Work Experience:Years of Applicable Experience - 7 or more yearsEducation:Bachelors (Required)

Preferred Qualifications


Skills:


  • Proven ability to meet sales goals including demonstrated achievement of 100% or greater of annual quota in two of last year fiscal years

  • Strong negotiating skills

Experience:


  • Practical hospital or healthcare related experience

  • Experience as a field based commissionable sales position

  • Experience with senior level leadership

  • Executive level presentations

Preferred Location


  • Candidate must me located within the Easten Stranded Time Zone.

Education:


  • Master’s Degree

Working Conditions: Remote..Premier’s compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier’s internal salary range for this role is $99,000 - $185,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location.
