We are now looking to add an SMB Acquisition Sales Rep to our sales team in London. You'll be contacting Director and VP-level marketing and IT professionals to demonstrate the huge value of WP Engine's platform and how our unique solution can meet their business needs and help them to grow.
The Day to Day
Building and growing a pipeline, from cold-calls, marketing leads, executive introductions, or your own network.
You're autonomous and independent, explaining the value of our platform to prospective customers. You have the awareness to utilise the sales team and solutions engineers to provide additional information to assist with closing the sale.
You will follow our consultative sales process and ensure SalesForce.com is updated.
You love setting up and presenting application demos for prospective clients
You will write quotes, proposals, and SOW's.
You understand the stages of a sale and if needed the timing to bring in the "big guns" of executives to close a deal, unless you've got it covered.
You have excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills. Working with prospects to close deals.
You will present sales reports to management and executives on a regular basis.
You are a standout colleague, with a positive attitude.
Your Expertise and Passion
Minimum 3+ years of direct sales experience with an outbound focus and a successful track record of meeting or exceeding assigned individual quota.
You're a natural on the phone. You have shown ability in leading a high volume of sales activity via the telephone.
WP Engine is a specialized platform and it's not about the sale, it's about what's best for the customer and for WP Engine. Success means we both succeed.
You're organized, with good attention to detail, and you can give concise reports on opportunities to company leadership.
Experience selling software products and solutions to marketing and sales professionals strongly preferred.
