About Our Opportunity 


As an IT Service Desk Technician I, you will provide IT support remotely and onsite to end users, help create IT documentation, and SOP creation. You will play an important role in resolving end user issues and escalating to Level 2 technicians when necessary. You’ll closely collaborate with the IT Service Desk team to guarantee prompt and efficient support for Valenz staff, ensuring their needs are met in a timely manner. 

Things You’ll Do Here: 


Resolve end user issues related to systems, applications, and hardware.  


  • Provide onsite and remote IT support for Valenz staff while providing a great user experience. 
  • Utilize internal ticketing platform to monitor and handle IT support requests submitted by Valenz users. 
  • Diagnose and resolve system wide issues with O365, encryption tools, endpoint management and application access.  
  • Escalate IT tickets to L2 technicians as necessary. 

Image new laptops and manage inventory lifecycle of hardware.  


  • Ensure returning laptops are formatted and securely stored in physical locations.  
  • Image new laptops and reimage devices that are reissued into circulation.  
  • Help reduce downtime in emergency situations with hardware.
  • Assist with devices that require remediation and help ensure they are up to Valenz standards. 

IT Documentation & SOP creation 


  •  Create and maintain standard operating procedure documentation for IT department.  
  • Help build end user wiki for self-service. 
  • Migrate and update existing documentation to new platform.

What You’ll Bring to the Team: 


  • Experience providing support in a fast-paced, fully remote environment. 
  • 1+ years of experience as Tier 1 or L1 IT support technician. 
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.  
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and O365 administration. 
  • Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft applications. 

A plus if you have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, business, or similar 
  • Experience with Okta or other SSO Platforms 
  • Experience with MDM and RMM tools 
  • Experience with command-line tools 
  • Microsoft 365 Certified 

Where You’ll Work 


This is hybrid role. We have an office in Radnor, PA and seek to work in-person 2 times per week. Outside of in-office days, this individual can expect to work from home/remote.
