Your Role:
The Digital Marketing Coordinator (DMC) is responsible for optimizing website and digital content for Search Engine Optimization (SEO). This includes analyzing SEO data and staying up to date on SEO trends and best practices. Additionally, the role involves developing a consistent content calendar, driving new web initiatives, implementing updates, and enhancing affiliate marketing. The DMC would also be managing CEA CAPA’s Content Management System (CMS), Sitefinity, by overseeing the CEA CAPA Content Creator Program and collaborates on cross-functional digital projects and promotions.
What You’ll Do:
- Optimize website for SEO to increase organic traffic and engagement. Conduct competitive analysis and keyword research, develop link strategy, and ensure proper SEO implementation such as meta descriptions, headers, etc.
- Identify and implement new web enhancements to boost overall user experience and search engine visibility and rankings based on data and analytics.
- Implement web updates and improvements including content and structure aligned to the brand’s visual identity and messaging.
- Manage SEO & paid directory vendor relationships to optimize digital results and monitor ROI.
- Analyze and report paid directory performance and ROI, making data-driven decisions to improve directory listings, rankings, and overall brand presence (e.g. Go Overseas, Go Abroad, etc.).
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and marketing team to align digital marketing efforts with broader marketing initiatives and campaigns (e.g. ecommerce, email/sms, paid search).
- Provide training, support, and management of our student Content Creator blogger program.
Starting Salary: $50,000
What Makes a Great Candidate:
- Past experience in marketing, communications, or related field preferred
- Knowledge in SEO, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools and reporting (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush) and content management systems (e.g., Sitefinity, WordPress).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS): Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to respect confidentiality and ethical boundaries regarding student privacy.
Core Skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Solid understanding of CMS platforms, SEO principles, web best practices and digital marketing trends
This is a full-time position. The standard work schedule is Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Overtime may be available and should be approved by the manager.
