We are searching for a Manager of Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering, to lead teams of talented data professionals. Our data platform powers both customer and business success and you will be managing the teams that drive that impact every day. You will empower our business to engage more effectively with our users so they can get more value from our products and services. You will manage the people who are responsible for delivering trusted, robust, and valuable data assets that are used across the business.
We apply software engineering best practices to our data, leveraging dbt with CI/CD to build, test, and deploy changes to our data models.The analytics team is responsible for the core data models, our Unified Analytics Model, that allow us to understand and evolve our business. The team is also responsible for ensuring that all teams can create and access data sets in a way that is useful and consistent. Your team of data engineers architect, build, and maintain the core data infrastructure that serves as the analytical backbone for the entire company.Our culture is renowned; we believe it is meaningful to hire the best and ensure that we provide an environment where the best get better. The day to day.
Hire, retain, and grow a talented group of analytics and data engineers.
Be accountable for the delivery of new data assets and for improving and evolving existing ones.
Understand and communicate the teams' capacity and skills and align them to the roadmap.
Collaborate cross-functionally with analysts, data scientists, product managers, and others to iterate on a data strategy that supports the needs of our rapidly growing business.
Work closely with business stakeholders in Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance & Customer Experience to design and deliver valuable data to drive business results.
Communicate the team's work and the value it creates.
Cultivate a high performance mindset, setting high standards and clear expectations.
Be an advocate for maintaining high quality and highly maintainable data assets through best practices and standards.
Drive improvements in process, code quality, and delivery cadence across the team.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will be communicating with senior leadership across the company
Experience leading a high performing data team
Understanding of modern software development practices and how they apply in the context of a data platform
Experience with data tools and platforms; FiveTran, Monte Carlo, dbt and BigQuery a plus
Proficient in SQL; able to debug and optimize queries
Experience with Python tools for data engineering
Ability to work effectively with a remote team across multiple time zones
Understanding of business strategy and metrics
7+ years of experience in engineering or engineering leadership
3+ years working in data: data engineering, data analytics, or data science.
