About the Team


The Publisher Engineering team is responsible for the public interfaces and tools for publishers. The team is responsible for building our next generation of products and platform capabilities in support of onboarding, management and optimization of publishers on the CDLX ad network. 

About the Position


Cardlytics is seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to join our team, reporting to the VP of Engineering. We are looking for a technical leader who brings deep business and technical expertise in consumer Internet and advertising technologies. The successful candidate will have a strong customer focused mindset, expert skills in building tools for publishers, and proven experience in scaling a product, platform and teams. 

Responsibilities:



  • Define and develop a world-class product responsible for all publisher facing experiences with the objective of making it easy for publishers to leverage the Cardlytics ad marketplace to drive engagement and yield from the MAU base.

  • Build effective teams by leading, mentoring and growing a team of cross functional technical experts and leaders. 

  • Drive vision and purpose through creation and execution against a high impact, growth driven technology roadmap.  

  • Deliver results by continually monitoring the day-to-day product development lifecycle.  

Minimum Qualifications



  • Education Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS or related field

  • Technical Team Management 10+ years of leadership experience in a technical setting, including digital media and advertising technology. (Fintech experience is a plus).

  • Hands on builder, canw execute and strive for efficiency without compromising quality; capable of diving in and getting hands on where needed to keep technical development on track. 

  • A strong cross functional leader, working with our product leadership and others to drive a focused technical strategy, and driving positive changes while building trust and credibility across all areas of the business.

  • Experienced working with client and consumer-facing product organizations.

  • An effective communicator with a solution-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications


  • A thought leader in distributed systems, microservices, web application, databases, AWS, and its related technologies.

Compensation


At Cardlytics salary ranges are determined based on factors such as role, level, and location. Individual compensation may be determined by relevant skills, experience, education, training, and other role-specific criteria. This salary range will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of the aforementioned factors.The base salary range provided below does not include bonuses and additional benefits.The annual US base salary range for this role is:$270,000-$290,000
