Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis
What you will be doing:
The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis plays a key role in providing business decision support to help drive Premier’s financial performance. In coordination with Finance leadership, the role is responsible for forecasting and budgeting for various business units within Premier, including Corporate and Consolidation, as well as reporting and communication of financial performance to business and Finance leaders. The Manager will partner with leaders throughout the Company and provide strategic analyses and insight, and help drive new business initiatives through the creation of financial proformas, ad hoc analysis and thought leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Business Unit support – 35%
Provide strategic support to business unit leaders to enable effective decision making, including communication and discussion of financial performance, proforma and ad hoc analysis, and accurate forecasts/budgets
Provide key insights into current business trends and identify areas for improvement
Budget Process – 20%
Collaborate with leadership on strategic direction and goals relative to the budget
Update and maintain complex models for revenue and expense forecasting
Manage budget iterations and work with stakeholders to adjust projections as needed
Create presentation materials to effectively communicate financials
Monthly Forecasting Process – 25%
Responsible for the monthly forecasting process for specific business units, including methodology, schedule & communication
Provide guidance and lead team on Revenue, Expense and Capital forecasting methodology and best practices
Alter forecast process where necessary to meet evolving needs of the business
Provide forecast data and analysis to key stakeholders as necessary
Other Activities – 20%
Review and update free cash model
Provide input and recommendations on department strategy, goals and objectives
Assists with various special projects as needed
Develop team members to prepare them for future roles and to help strengthen the Finance group
Required Qualifications
Work Experience:Years of Applicable Experience - 5 or more yearsEducation:High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience:
6 years of experience
Financial planning and analysis experience required
Accounting knowledge a plus
Education:
Master's degree (MA, MS, MBA)

Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.Premier’s compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees.
Premier’s internal salary range for this role is $80,000 - $148,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location.
