As a Credit Risk Manager, you will be responsible for leading the credit risk management function, ensuring the company’s Personal Loan portfolio is managed effectively to minimize risk and drive growth. This role requires strategic thinking and collaboration with senior leadership to drive risk management initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the credit risk management strategy and execution for Credit Card and Personal Loan products.
Lead a small team of credit risk professionals in analyzing and managing risk in an evolving environment.
Develop and implement advanced credit risk models and frameworks.
Conduct in-depth data analysis to evaluate risk and performance metrics.
Build and maintain unit economic models to measure the profitability of credit risk initiatives.
Design and implement measured experiments to evaluate future policy expansions.
Prepare and present comprehensive risk reports to senior leadership.
Collaborate with executive management on strategic risk initiatives.
Monitor and respond to economic and industry changes affecting credit risk.
Develop and present business cases for new credit risk initiatives.
Mentor and develop credit risk team members.
Own and maintain the credit risk policy.
Dig into the data and perform hands-on analysis to support strategic decisions.
Develop strategy proposals and obtain approval for these proposals.
Cross functional leadership to implement new strategies and initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
4+ years of credit risk management experience, with 1+ years in a management role, preferably in the credit card or personal loan industry.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
Proven ability to dig into data and perform hands-on analysis.
Excellent leadership and team development abilities.
Proficiency in SQL and Python, particularly for data analysis.
Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
