Job Summary:


Reputation is looking for a Senior FrontEnd Software Engineer to push our user experience forward. In collaboration with Product Managers and Team Lead, our frontend software engineers work to deliver data to the browser and capture user interaction in a compelling, intelligent, and efficient manner. Frontend engineers extend the functionality of our products and work to eliminate deficiencies in the current release.We are looking for engineers who can build simple, fast, and elegant software. The Reputation Engineering team is small, flat, and close knit.

Responsibilities:



  • Understand feature requirements, participate in engineering design sessions, and do clean code developments efficiently.

  • Work in a fast pace Agile CICD environment and participate actively in the Agile process, standup, sprint planning, retro meetings, etc.

  • Integrate and collaborate with other team members to be a part of a cohesive team that delivers new features and bug fixes at a high velocity.

  • Work on multiple Reputation’s products to extend functionality and to eliminate deficiencies.

  • Build web interfaces using the latest JavaScript frameworks.

  • Deliver data to the browser and capture user interaction in a compelling, intelligent, and efficient manner.

  • Apply knowledge of cross-browser limitations and workarounds while using basic UX principles and user experience

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:



  • 4+ years of experience building web interfaces.

  • Experience using one or some the latest JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Ember, Backbone, jQuery).

  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and Ajax.

  • Experience with server-side technologies like Node, Ruby or PHP.

  • Knowledge of cross-browser limitations and workarounds.

  • Understanding of basic UX principles and what makes a great user experience.

  • Detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
