The primary goal of the Sr. AWS Cloud Engineer / AWS Cloud Architect is to support and grow the existing cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) environment. This position performs a wide variety of planning, building, configuration, scripting, and executing projects to support new business and automate business processes. This position works closely with team members to define cloud infrastructure strategies, standards, and procedures, and implement new cloud services to further business objectives while maintaining a secure cloud infrastructure through vulnerability remediation.Responsibilities:
- Design, Implement, and Maintain the IaaS environment and infrastructure as code to ensure resiliency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
- Windows and Linux-based operating system configuration, automation, and management
- Ongoing monitoring of resource usage, performance tuning, issue resolution, and capacity planning
- Collaborate on code reviews, research new cloud technologies, and prototype solutions that can be leveraged to decrease costs, increase performance, and further business initiatives
- Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
- Adhere to and strengthen Change Control, Secure Coding, and SDLC processes, maintaining the security and integrity of our environment
- Develop and maintain documentation for systems and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service

Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of IT and cloud architecture experience (AWS preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, or equivalent work experience.
- Existing cloud certifications or active pursuit of certifications
- Coding experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.)
- Container technologies such as Docker is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
- Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time
- Primary work environment is professional corporate office
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $135,000.Compensation offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education and, where applicable, certifications obtained.
